OUR BOATYARD
Hesford Marine is located in a pleasant location alongside the Bridgewater Canal. Originally a salt works Hesford Marine took over the buildings and land to provide a range of services to the canal user.
SERVICES
Hesford Marine has space for approximately 70 hard standing spaces in an area of 1.5 acres. We provide many services for the boat owner wishing to make repairs and for maintenance work.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Hesford Marine is located close to the popular village of Lymm, which can trace it’s history to the Domesday book of 1086. The Bridgewater Canal passes through the town 1.4 miles from Hesford Marine ….
CHANDLERY
Hesford Marine has an on-site chandlery which aims to stock all the accessories and items you need for working on your narrowboat, including paint, anti-fouling, Anodes and much more.
Hesford Marine is a Do It Yourself boatyard. By renting hard standing on the boat yard you can carry out repairs and maintenance, either by yourself of by choosing a tradesman of your own choice.
We offer the facility to take your boat out of the water on a trolley, using the Hesford Slipway and bring your boat to dry land in preparation for repair/maintenance work.
A Pressure Wash is provided for you to pressure wash your hull immediately after landing your boat, or if you prefer we can do this for you. Once washed we will move you to an area where you can commence your work. A 240v power supply is available and distributed across the yard.
If you require under cover facilities, a boat shed is available allowing you to work on your boat at any time of day or night, or in unfavourable weather conditions.
Shot Blasting facilities are available and should you require it. We can provide a welding service for removal and replacement of Anodes.
We have a Mobile Crane on site allowing lifts of up to 20 tons. Lifting and other operations must be booked in advance and will require a deposit.
We have 2 boat sheds available. The boat sheds are in high demand throughout the year, therefore booking well in advance is advised.
Hesford Marine is located on Warrington Lane, Lymm, Cheshire, and can be accessed from Warrington Lane by either Gate 1 (located to the right of The Barn Owl Inn) or by Gate 2 (located alongside Mobility Engineering (Cheshire) Ltd.
